70 Hearty Cheers to Mubo Obasa

When the path of man is pleasing before the Lord, God Almighty will make everything that person does to be prosperous and endow her/him with goodness, mercy grace and unprecedented favour. 


This and many more hearty wishes have been the songs on the lips of families, friends, associates and thousands of Nigerians, particularly the people of Oyo State, as a former Permanent Secretary in Oyo State Ministry of Health, Mubo Obasa nee Adewale clocks 70 today. 


Born on the 6th of November 1950 to the family of veteran journalist Papa Moni Adewale of blessed memory, Mubo successfully carved  a niche for herself in the  nursing profession,  as she graciously and successfully got to the pinnacle of her career as a Permanent Secretary in Oyo State Ministry of Health, a pedastal she maintained till she retired from the civil service. 


Mubo's years of service in Oyo State Ministry of Health spanned through various remarkable activities both at the state and National levels. Since her retirement, Mubo Obasa has continued to contribute her wealth of experience towards the development of the  nursing profession.  She has been living selflessly to ensure and entrench unity, peace, progress and prosperity in all facets of life, successfully passing on this attribute to her children Tosin, Tayo and Tope. 


Mubo  is also a front liner in the social ministry department of the Nigerian Baptist Convention and a formidable force to be reckoned with when it comes to issues of health, social wellbeing and Christian living. 


Mubo is happily married to Jide Obasa, a septuagenarian  with years of excellence in the economic sector of the country. 


As Mubo Obasa clocks 70 today, families , friends and well wishers are sending 70 hearty cheers to an astute nurse, a retired permanent secretary in Oyo state ministry of health,  a teacher,  a writer,  a sister, a beautiful wife, a mother, a grandmother and a Pastor.
