T.B Joshua: How late Synagogue pastor planned to celebrate birthday on Saturday

The founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), Prophet T.B. Joshua, reportedly died one week before his birthday.

The Prophet died on his way to the hospital on Saturday, after conducting a church service.

The controversial cleric was born June 12, 1963, and planned to mark his 58th birthday with fasting and prayer next Saturday.

“June 12 is around the corner. As you know, I’m a man of the people. So, the wound of one is the wound of all.

“As things stand, you may have realised it will not be easy for me to celebrate my birthday under the present circumstances. Some of the people who want to come are troubled by the situation all over the world. We see their fear and their worry. I feel their pain; I feel their worry.

“Therefore, let us dedicate this day to prayer and fasting. Don’t forget the needy,” a message posted on his Facebook page on Friday, read.

Joshua, who shot to prominence with miracles aired on his Emmanuel TV, was also a well-known philanthropist.

His wealth is estimated to be around $15 million.
